Acting Diretor of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire released a statement yesterday about the ongoing standoff over the whistleblower complaint.

Acting Diretor of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire released a statement yesterday about the ongoing standoff over the whistleblower complaint. Maguire asserted, "In light of recent reporting on the whistleblower complaint, I want to make clear that I have upheld my responsibility to follow the law every step of the way." Maguire's statement also stressed his loyalty to his oath to the Constitution and underscored that he is "committed to protecting whistleblowers and ensuring every complaint is handled appropriately."
