Today, Lawfare test-drives a slight adjustment to its military commissions coverage---one we previewed a while back. Jury duty will keep yours truly away from Fort Meade, and thus from almost-live blogging on the day's events in United States from Al-Nashiri.

Today, Lawfare test-drives a slight adjustment to its military commissions coverage---one we previewed a while back. Jury duty will keep yours truly away from Fort Meade, and thus from almost-live blogging on the day's events in United States from Al-Nashiri.  But that doesn't mean we won't cover the pre-trial motions session, which last met on Friday; instead it means only that we'll opt for a different coverage format.  Today Lawfare, in the person of Matt Danzer, will read the transcript of the day's proceedings---as soon as one becomes available---and thereafter write one or more posts digesting the day's most significant developments.   Which is to say: fret  not over the absence of nearly-live coverage; stay tuned for Matt's update.
