We are excited to announce a new project we’ve been working on for the past few weeks here at Lawfare. We are launching a new podcast documentary series on the Mueller Report. Called, “The Report,” it will tell the story of what is actually in the Special Counsel’s report, over a number of narrative episodes featuring the extended family of Lawfare analysts and many of the journalists who broke and reported on key stories the Mueller report details.

The series aims to be fair and factual and reasonably comprehensive about the contents of the report, while presenting it in a format more digestible than 448 pages of dry legalese.

It’s a hell of a story and there’s more in there than many people realize.

Here’s the trailer:

Susan Hennessey was the Executive Editor of Lawfare and General Counsel of the Lawfare Institute. She was a Brookings Fellow in National Security Law. Prior to joining Brookings, Ms. Hennessey was an attorney in the Office of General Counsel of the National Security Agency. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of California, Los Angeles.
Benjamin Wittes is editor in chief of Lawfare and a Senior Fellow in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution. He is the author of several books.
