We're a little late to the party on this one, but Ben and fellow Brookings scholar Daniel Byman will discuss their lengthy report "Tools and Tradeoffs: Confronting U.S. Citizen Terrorist Suspects Abroadat 1 PM at Brookings today.  The paper is about how the United States goes after American terrorists abroad, and, as Ben said in an earlier post:
[I]t is an attempt to survey the bewildering array of authorities and powers the United States has deployed against its citizens when they are believed to have allied themselves with Al Qaeda or its associated forces overseas and to try to look at the costs and benefits of the various tools at the disposal of the United States.
The event will be moderated by Bruce Riedel, also of Brookings, and will be available as an episode of the Lawfare Podcast.
