A Maryland-based Coast Guardsman, Christopher Hasson, has been charged with criminal possession of firearms, under 18 U.S.C. § 922 (g)(3), and illegal substances, under 21 U.S.C. § 844. In a motion for pre-trial detention, the government alleges that Hasson, "is a domestic terrorist, bent on committing acts dangerous to human life that are intended to affect governmental conduct."
