On April 3, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York charged Thomas Alonzo Bolin with making false statements about his possession of firearms to FBI agents in the course of an investigation into possible violations of federal civil rights and firearms laws. The Justice Department issued a press release noting, among other things, that Bolin had “made statements consistent with white supremacist ideology and referenced the attacks on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, which killed 50 worshippers and civilians, and injured 50 others.” The criminal complaint and supporting affidavit are below.
