For those who can't get in to the Supreme Court oral argument in Shelby County v. Holder, and who aren't otherwise enticed by the Journal of National Security Law & Policy's inaugural symposium, "Swimming in the Ocean of Big Data: National Security in an Age of Unlimited Information," the full House Judiciary Committee will be holding a hearing next Wednesday, February 27, at 10 a.m., on "Drones and the War on Terror: When Can the U.S. Target Alleged American Terrorists Overseas?" The witness list has not yet been released, but we'll have the details once they're available.

Steve Vladeck is a professor of law at the University of Texas School of Law. A 2004 graduate of Yale Law School, Steve clerked for Judge Marsha Berzon on the Ninth Circuit and Judge Rosemary Barkett on the Eleventh Circuit. In addition to serving as a senior editor of the Journal of National Security Law & Policy, Steve is also the co-editor of Aspen Publishers’ leading National Security Law and Counterterrorism Law casebooks.
