House Armed Services Holds Hearing on Rules-Based Order in Space

On Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces and the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Development, International Organizations and Global Corporate Social Impact will hold a joint hearing on creating a framework for a rules-based order in space.

On Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces and the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Development, International Organizations and Global Corporate Social Impact will hold a joint hearing on creating a framework for a rules-based order in space. The subcommittees will hear testimony from Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, commander of Space Operations Command; John Hill, the official performing the duties of the assistant defense secretary for space policy; Bruce Turner, senior bureau official at the State Department's Bureau of Arms Control, Verification and Compliance; and Jonathan Moore, principal deputy assistant secretary of state for oceans and international environmental and scientific affairs.
