House Oversight Committee Holds Day Two of Hearing on Government Coronavirus Response

The House Oversight and Reform Committee reconvened a hearing on the government's preparedness for and response to the coronavirus outbreak at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020. The committee continued questioning leading federal public health officials Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Dr. Robert Redfield, Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Dr. Robert Kadlec, Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response of the Department of Health and Human Services; Terry M. Rauch, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for Health Readiness Policy and Oversight of the Department of Defense; and Mr. Chris Currie, Director of Energy Management and National Preparedness of the Government Accountability Office.
