KSM to be Tried by Military Commission?, Congressional Hearing on MCs

We've seen several reports that the Obama Administration is poised to announce, at a 2 P.M. press conference today, that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will be tried by a military commission.
There is also a House Judiciary Committee hearing scheduled for tomorrow morning that seems particularly timely in light of this development. The hearing is titled "Justice for America: Using Military Commissions to Try the 9/11 Conspirators."
Larkin Reynolds is an associate at a D.C. law firm and was a legal fellow at Brookings from 2010 to 2011. Larkin holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as a founding editor of the Harvard National Security Journal and interned with the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps, and the National Security Division of the Department of Justice.
