On Jan. 14 at 4 p.m. ET, Lawfare Editor-in-Chief Benjamin Wittes will speak to Lawfare Senior Editor Anna Bower following the confirmation hearing of Pete Hegseth in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee. President-elect Donald Trump announced his intention to nominate Pete Hegseth, a former Fox News contributor and former Army National Guard officer, as secretary of defense on Nov. 12.

The livestream start time will change if the hearing concludes after 1 pm ET. Any change in time will be announced on Lawfare's social media and here.
