Today on Lawfare No Bull: On June 23, the House Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol held its fifth public hearing. The committee heard testimony from three former Justice Department officials who served in the Trump administration. Former Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, former Acting Deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue, and former Head of the Office of Legal Counsel Steve Engel. They testified on former President Trump's efforts to pressure the Justice Department to act on his claims of election fraud and to remove Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen and install Jeffrey Clark as attorney general.
