Today on Lawfare No Bull: On Wednesday February 9, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on the legal and human costs of U.S. drone strikes. The committee heard from five witnesses including Hina Shamsi, Director of the National Security Project at the ACLU; Radhya al-Mutawakel, Chairperson of the Mwatana for Human Rights in Yemen; Stephen Pomper, Chief of Policy at the International Crisis Group; Retired Air Force General and Chief of Staff John Jumper; and Nathan Sales, Former Ambassador-at-Large and Coordinator for Counterrorism at the State Department:
