This week, Suzanne Spaulding—Under Secretary for the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) at the Department of Homeland Security—joined me on the podcast in an interview in front of a live audience at a DHS cybersecurity conference. It's a wide-ranging conversation covering DHS's role both in protecting private sector infrastructure and in defending unclassified government computer system. We talked about last year's attacks in Ukraine, what progress DHS has made in standing up its own cybersecurity capacity, and what still needs to be done.
