This week, we posted the Lawfare Podcast a bit early and brought you a special Wednesday edition in response to Acting Attorney General Sally Yates's order to the Justice Department not to defend President Trump's executive order banning refugees and immigrants from seven majority-Muslim countries. The same night she issued the order, she was dismissed by the President. We brought on Jack Goldsmith and Marty Lederman, who have both served in senior positions in the Office of Legal Counsel, to discuss Yate's actions.
