<em>Lawfare's</em> Digest of Declassified Documents from CIA's In-House Intelligence Journal

A few weeks back, in response to a FOIA request, the Central Intelligence Agency made public a trove of documents from Studies in Intelligence, the agency's in-house intelligence publication. The FOIA-released materials have since been folded over into a larger compendium of declassified material---which Lawfare (in the persons of Taj Moore, Jodie Liu, Clara Spera, and Michael Knapp) has started to plow through, read, and digest. The initial fruits of that effort can be found on a new Special Feature on the site (link here, drop down menu above), where interested folk can rummage through thematically organized summaries of the documents, along, of course, with the documents themselves. We hope to update the page, and to add further digested entries, on a rolling basis. In the meantime, do you want to know more about intelligence reform after 9/11, or operations against Castro's Cuba back in the day---but don't have time to click around the CIA website?
