Lawfare's New Site Was Not Free. Please Contribute to Lawfare

By now, you've seen Lawfare's new web site. I sincerely hope you are one tenth as excited about it as I am. A huge amount of editorial and design thought and work went into this project. So did a lot of research. Our tech team watched Lawfare readers engage the site to see how people were using it, what was working, and what was not. They also reader-tested the designs they came up with to see if users found the new Lawfare site easier to navigate. On the home front, countless hours went into imagining the many ways that Lawfare had to work for the many different people for whom it has to work. It was a long process. It wasn't simple. And for a small non-profit—I'm being candid here—it wasn't cheap.

So this is the part where I pass around a collection plate.

We need your help sustaining and growing Lawfare. We have a lot of technology to pay for, and a lot of content still to develop. Today we launched Omphalos, but we have other subsidiary pages we're going to build. We recently had our first beer summit, but we have lots of other live events we want to hold. 

So if you use Lawfare regularly, make a contribution. We have benefited over the past few years from some truly heroic philanthropy.
