Lindsey Graham Speaks at AEI
One person we have not heard from in our extensive discussion on this blog of Sen. Lindsey Graham's habeas legislation, S. 3707, is Sen. Lindsey Graham. Graham has been uncharacteristically reticent on the subject of his legislation, since introducing it a few weeks back. Until the other day, that is--when he gave a speech at the American Enterprise Institute. As part of our dialog on the bill, I thought I would post the speech, which touches both on the subject of the bill itself and on some of the issues that surround it.

Similarly, this article by Josh Gerstein in the Politico sheds important light on the now-moribund talks between Graham and the White House over a grand bargain on detainees.
