Liveblog: International Refugee Assistance Project v. Trump

In February the American Civil Liberties Union and partner organizations filed a lawsuit challenging, on statutory and constitutional grounds, President's Trump's original and then revised executive order blocking citizens of six mostly Muslim countries from entering the United States for 90 days, with exemptions. On March 15, Judge Theodore Chuang of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland held that the plaintiffs were likely to succeed on the merits of their Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) and Establishment Clause claims and issued a nationwide preliminary injunction enjoining enforcement of Section 2(c) of the order.
