The Senate Armed Services Committee will hold a hearing at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 28 to examine the conclusion of military operations in Afghanistan and plans for future counterterrorism operations. The committee will hear testimony from Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley and Commander of the United States Central Command Gen. Kenneth McKenzie.
