The Intelligence Studies Project and Business Executives for National Security are today hosting a symposium at UT Austin on "Intelligence in Defense of the Homeland," concerning the challenges that intelligence and law enforcement agencies face in detecting and disrupting attacks inside the United States.

The symposium will feature keynote remarks by FBI Director James Comey and Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Thomas Bossert, as well as conversations between Bruce Hoffman and Peter Bergen on domestic terrorism threats and between Benjamin Wittes and Hina Shamsi on civil liberties and national security.
Director Comey will speak at 11:30am EST. Thomas Bossert will speak at 2pm EST.
