The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol will hold its sixth day of its series of hearings on June 28 at 1 p.m. ET. The select committee has not yet released a witness list, but news outlets have reported that Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, is expected to testify. Hutchinson has cooperated with the committee previously, providing information in videotaped closed-door testimony, pieces of which have been shown during the public hearings. The hearing was abruptly scheduled a day in advance to present “recently obtained evidence,” according to the committee.
