On Feb. 13, Judge Robert C.I. McBurney of the Superior Court of Fulton County of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit ordered that most of the Fulton County Special Purpose Grand Jury’s final report not be made public until Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis completes her investigation into interference in the 2020 election in Georgia.

McBurney, however, did order that three parts of the report—the introduction, conclusion, and Section VIII (in which the special purpose grand jury “discusses its concern that some [unnamed] witnesses may have lied under oath during their testimony to the grand jury”)—may be published.

In response to the order, Willis issued the following statement:

I believe Judge McBurney's order is legally sound and consistent with my request. I have no plans to appeal today's order.
