House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon announced today that he is introducing legislation "to address the Administration’s Executive Order and America’s terrorist prosecution and detention policies." The text of the legislation does not appear to be available yet, but the committee has released a fact sheet about it. I will have a lot to say about this bill, which contains both some constructive ideas and some very destructive ones. As soon as I have a chance to review the actual text, I will post my thoughts.
