On Jan. 4, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit heard oral arguments in Committee on the Judiciary v. Donald F. McGahn, III (concerning the committee's subpoena to the former White House counsel) and In re Application of the Committee on the Judiciary (concerning the committee's effort to obtain grand jury material redacted from the Mueller report).
