Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff of California, who leads the House Intelligence Committee, has announced a bill to criminalize domestic terrorism. In a domestic analogue to 18 U.S.C. § 2332b, the bill would make it a crime to commit certain violent acts within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States, “with the intent to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion, or affect the conduct of a government.” The bill is available here and below.
