Security by the Book Event on Oct. 9: John Mearsheimer’s ‘The Great Delusion’

The Hoover Institution will host the next event of the “Security by the Book” series on Oct. 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., where Lawfare’s Jack Goldsmith will interview John Mearsheimer about his new book, “The Great Delusion: Liberal Dreams and International Realities.”

The Hoover Institution will host the next event of the “Security by the Book” series on Oct. 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., where Lawfare’s Jack Goldsmith will interview John Mearsheimer about his new book, “The Great Delusion: Liberal Dreams and International Realities.”

This series of monthly book conversations about national security law and policy is sponsored by the Hoover Institution’s National Security, Technology, and Law Working Group. The conversations take place at Hoover's offices at 1399 New York Avenue NW, Suite 500, and are preceded by a reception with food and drink. Space for the event is limited, and recent events have filled up, so please register quickly. RSVPs are required.

Matthew Kahn is a third-year law student at Harvard Law School and a contributor at Lawfare. Prior to law school, he worked for two years as an associate editor of Lawfare and as a junior researcher at the Brookings Institution. He graduated from Georgetown University in 2017.
