Senate Foreign Relations Holds Hearing on Authorizations of Use of Force

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee is holding a hearing on authorizations of use of force. Members are hearing testimony from officials from the State Department and Department of Defense.

On Tuesday, August 3, at 10:10 a.m., the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hold a hearing on administration perspectives on authorizations of use of force. The committee will hear the testimony of Wendy Sherman, Deputy Secretary of State; Richard Visek, Acting Legal Adviser for the Department of State; and Caroline Krass, general counsel for the Department of Defense.
