I'm delighted to announce that I've persuaded the folks who run the excellent, must-listen Steptoe Cyberlaw Podcast to host it on Lawfare. I started listening to this podcast---a weekly interview series and discussion of cybersecurity and privacy news by Steptoe lawyers Stewart Baker, Michael Vatis, and Jason Weinstein---a few weeks ago and got a bit hooked on it. All three principals have deep government experience and the conversation is richly informed, opinionated, and a great deal of fun.

They also get great guests and---in the true Lawfare podcasting tradition---low production values. So the other day, I called Stewart and told him that they should move the program over to Lawfare. He and his colleagues agreed. So starting today, the Steptoe Cyberlaw Podcast will appear weekly on this site. Each episode will be accompanied by an introductory post by one of the Steptoe group that puts the podcast together. To be clear, this is their podcast, not ours. We will not be exercising editorial or production control over it in any way. I simply thought Lawfare readers would benefit from having access to it on a regular basis and that the Steptoe folks would benefit from having access to the Lawfare readership. Certainly anyone who listens to the Lawfare Podcast will want to check it out---as will anyone with even a passing interest in cybersecurity policy.
