Technology innovation is accelerating around the world. Advances in AI, quantum computing, and cloud storage are providing new opportunities for communications and service delivery, but how are new digital tools affecting inequality? There is concern that technology will further inequality and divide the world into technology haves and havenots.

In this episode of the TechTank Podcast, Darrell West talks with Zia Qureshi, a senior fellow in the Global Economy and Development program at Brookings about how cutting-edge tech is shaping inequality. They dive into whether these innovations will widen the gap between those with access to tech and those without, and what we can do to make sure technology benefits everyone.
