Today in Cyber on the Hill -- CISPA Heads to the House Floor

It was a busy day on the House side in Cyber.  The House Rules Committee reported out the Cybersecurity Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act for consideration on the House floor tomorrow.  Meanwhile the White House issued a Statement of Administration Policy on H.R. 624  that threatened a veto of CISPA.  So we have the odd position that a bill that has so much become larded with privacy protections and liability rules that I no longer think is terribly effective (and may, therefore, lose some votes on the Republican side) still has not moved far enough to avoid a veto threat from the President.  If you want a prediction, CISPA passes tomorrow more narrowly than it did a year ago.
