President Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen testified publicly before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, covering a wide range of topics, the Washington Post details. In particular, Cohen alleged that Trump knew in advance of WikiLeaks releases through Roger Stone.

The night before Michael Cohen was to testify before Congress, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) implied on Twitter that Cohen’s family would learn of his alleged infidelity, later walking back the statement after condemnation from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and public questions about potential witness tampering, the New York Times reports.

The House voted to terminate the emergency declaration used by President Trump to fund a border wall, moving the measure to the Senate before it faces the possibility of a presidential veto, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Aerial combat over Pakistan resulted in the downing of two Indian jets, according to Pakistani forces, and the downing one Pakistani aircraft, according to India—though Pakistan denied losing an aircraft—according to the Post. India confirmed one of its planes had been shot down, leaving its pilot in Pakistani custody. Pakistan additionally conducted strikes in Indian-administered Kashmir, following Indian airstrikes in Pakistan on Tuesday.

President of Iran Hassan Rouhani rejected his Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif’s resignation, saying it was “against the country’s interests,” the BBC details.
