Attorney General Bill Barr provided a summary of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees and released it publicly. Barr quoted the report as saying that the “investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.” Barr noted that Mueller did not take a position on potential obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump, though Barr said he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein determined there was not enough evidence to support an obstruction charge, the New York Times reports. Lawfare posted Barr’s letter in full.
