In an interview on Thursday, Attorney General Bill Barr discussed President Trump’s recent social media activity about active Justice Department cases, reports ABC News.

The Justice Department charged Huawei Technologies with racketeering conspiracy and conspiracy to steal trade secrets in an indictment unsealed Thursday, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Seven militants were killed in suspected Israeli airstrikes that targeted an Iranian-backed militia near Damascus airport on Thursday evening, reports Haaretz.

China’s National Health Commission disclosed on Thursday that more than 1,700 medical workers have been infected with coronavirus and six have died, according to the Washington Post. In order to finance the wall along the southern border, President Trump is preparing to divert $3.8 billion from a collection of Department of Defense programs used to finance the procurement of war materiel, writes Foreign Policy.

In advance of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s visit to the White House, President Trump tweeted a thinly-veiled reference to his administration's decision to end New York’s access to federal expedited travel security programs. Rep. Val Demmings and others accused the President of linking his administration’s policies toward New York to his interest in the dismissal of New York investigations and lawsuits into his personal conduct, reports Politico.

The Senate passed a resolution yesterday blocking President Trump from using military force against Iran without congressional authorization. The vote fell short of the two-thirds majority necessary to overcome a likely veto by the White House, according to the Wall Street Journal.
