On Tuesday afternoon, former President Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court to halt the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals’s Sept. 21 ruling granting the Justice Department's access to classified documents seized from Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence on Aug. 8.

In the application to vacate the Eleventh Circuit’s ruling, Trump argues that the Eleventh Circuit “lacked jurisdiction to review the Special Master’s authority” and that the court’s use of pendent appellate jurisdiction to review the appointment of the Special Master was “inappropriate.”
