Trump Submits Motion to Quash Fulton County Investigation Final Report

On Mar. 20, former President Donald Trump submitted a motion to quash the final report produced by a Georgia special purpose grand jury, which investigated his alleged interference in the 2020 election. The motion further seeks to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from further investigating or prosecuting Trump campaign officials for their roles in alleged election tampering.
This motion comes just over one month after Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney published excerpts from the special purpose grand jury’s report on Feb. 16.
