Welcome Steve Vladeck

I'm delighted to announce that Stephen Vladeck of American University's Washington College of Law is joining Lawfare as a senior contributor.  Many readers already know Steve's work, as he is one of the most prolific and thoughtful commentators on national security law around. He has also, almost since the day Lawfare launched, been one of its most engaged interlocutors. Steve brings a great deal of expertise in a wide range of issues Lawfare follows. He also brings a different philosophical orientation on many of the issues the site covers, so the quantum of disagreement on the blog is likely to increase. We're excited about that--and excited, more generally, to have him aboard.
