On March 2, the Biden administration announced its National Cybersecurity Strategy, which is intended to “secure the full benefits of a safe and secure digital ecosystem for all Americans.”

According to the White House, the strategy is designed to address cyber threats while also working to increase pathways for digital innovation. It is structured around five pillars: defend critical infrastructure, disrupt and dismantle threat actors, shape market forces to drive security and resilience, invest in a resilient future, and forge international partnerships to pursue shared goals.
