Amy J. Nelson
Amy J. Nelson is a Rubenstein Fellow in the Foreign Policy Program and with the Talbott Center for Security, Strategy and Technology at the Brookings Institution, as well as an affiliated researcher with the Center for International Security Studies at the University of Maryland. She was previously a fellow at the Center for the Study of Weapons of Mass Destruction at National Defense University, a Bosch fellow in residence at the German Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin, Germany, and a policy analyst in the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. She teaches courses on arms control and defense innovation at Missouri State University’s Department of Strategic Studies.
