Alex Wilner

Alex Wilner is an associate professor at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University in Ottawa. His books on deterrence include “Deterring Terrorism: Theory and Practice” (eds., Stanford University Press, 2012), “Deterring Rational Fanatics” (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2015) and “Deterrence by Denial: Theory and Practice” (eds., Cambria Press, 2021).
