Canyon Brimhall

Canyon Brimhall works with the Technology & Innovation and Cybersecurity & Emerging Threats teams to promote pragmatic, free-market policy solutions to complex technological issues. Canyon got his start in Washington, D.C. as an intern on Capitol Hill where he climbed the ladder and eventually became a Legislative Assistant. After leaving the Hill, he joined the Mercatus Center at George Mason University as an outreach associate specializing in technology policy. Prior to joining R Street, Canyon was the government affairs manager for the Competitive Enterprise Institute where he handled a broad range of issues. Canyon graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s in political science
