Dmytro Koval

Dmytro Koval is an Associate Professor at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. He holds a Ph.D. in international law with the thesis “International Law Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict”. He was a research fellow at Stanford University, Central European University, Jagiellonian University, and the Graduate School for Social Research of the Polish Academy of Science. Koval served as a member of the Ukraine's Ministry of Justice Expert Committee on International Humanitarian Law Implementation. He is a Co-Executive Director of Truth Hounds and a member of the board of the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize winner Center for Civil Liberties.
