Haim Abraham
Haim Abraham is a Vanier Scholar and a doctor of juridical science candidate at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. In his current research, he examines states’ moral and legal obligations to compensate noncombatants who suffered wrongful losses during belligerent activities. He received a master of laws degree from the University of Cambridge, and a bachelor degree in law and in humanities (magna cum laude) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he was on the editorial board of the Israel Law Review. Before returning to academia, he served as a law clerk in the civil department of the Israel State Attorney Office.
