J. Nathan Matias

Dr. J. Nathan Matias is an Assistant Professor at Cornell University with appointments in the Departments of Communication and Information Science. Before Cornell, he was an associate research scholar at Princeton University in Psychology, the Center for Information Technology, and Sociology. A Guatemalan-American, Nathan completed his Ph.D. at the MIT Media Lab, spent several years as a fellow at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, and has served as research liaison for numerous technology firms.
