João Guilherme Bastos dos Santos

João Guilherme Bastos dos Santos is a researcher at the Brazilian National Institute of Science and Technology for Digital Democracy (INCT.DD), member of the Carnegie Endowment's Partnership for Countering Influence Operations' (PCIO) and Data Analyst at Internews. He is a doctorate in Communication at Rio de Janeiro State University including a doctoral visit supervised by Stephen Colaman at the University of Leeds. Currently focused on applied research and coding to deal with rumors, misinfomration, influence operations and disinformation campaigns.
