James M. Sullivan
James M. Sullivan currently serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Services in the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce and oversees U.S. Government administration of the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks. Prior to joining the Commerce Department, he was president of a SaaS startup, general counsel of a private equity firm, and a white collar defense attorney at two AmLaw 50 global law firms. Mr. Sullivan holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross, a J.D. from the Catholic University of America, and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University, and is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and the State of New York.
