Matthew Hudnall

Dr. Matthew Hudnall is the Deputy Director for the Institute of Data & Analytics (IDA) in the Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama and is an Assistant Professor in Management Information Systems. Prior to joining Culverhouse, Dr. Hudnall served as Deputy Director of the University of Alabama Center for Advanced Public Safety (CAPS) (2001-2017) and specialized in developing statewide software data integration and analytics solutions for law enforcement, traffic safety, medical and other state-level sectors. During his years at UA, Dr. Hudnall has been principal investigator on over 30 funded applied research projects and has managed over $30 million in grant funds.
