Naureen Chowdhury Fink

Naureen Chowdhury Fink is the executive director at the Soufan Center, an independent think tank focused on global security issues. Prior to this, she was senior policy adviser on counterterrorism and sanctions at the U.K. Mission to the United Nations, leading on related negotiations in the Security Council and the General Assembly, and previously at U.N. Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate and U.N. Women. From 2011 to 2016 she was head of research and analysis at the Global Center on Cooperative Security, leading on multilateral programs, and from 2006 to 2011 she was a policy analyst at the International Peace Institute, where she developed the counterterrorism and transnational security portfolio.
