Siobhan Gorman

Siobhan is a director in the Brunswick Group's Washington office, where she concentrates on the Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice and specializes in breach preparedness, breach crisis response, and thought leadership initiatives. She has worked on a range of confidential cyber crises, as well as preparedness projects in the financial, defense, entertainment, airline, automotive, and retail sectors. Siobhan has also worked on public affairs and reputational projects in the financial and technology sectors. Prior to joining Brunswick, she had a 17-year career as a reporter, most recently at The Wall Street Journal. At The Journal, she covered intelligence, national security, and cybersecurity issues. Prior to joining The Journal in 2007, Siobhan was a Washington correspondent for The Baltimore Sun covering intelligence and security. She was nominated three times for the Pulitzer Prize and won the 2006 Journalism Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for her reporting on the National Security Agency. Siobhan is also a member of the advisory committee for Brown University’s Executive Cybersecurity Advisory Committee for its Executive Master in Cybersecurity.
