Shamala Kandiah Thompson

Shamala Kandiah Thompson is the chief operating officer of the UN Security Council Report. She provides overall operational oversight and oversees the organization’s administrative, financial, and donor activities, as well as its capacity-building training programs. As a research analyst, Ms Thompson covered a range of topics, including Asian and European issues, non-proliferation, the Secretary-General’s selection process, and children and armed conflict.
